Freddy holds a BA degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, majoring in Political Studies and International Relations, with further studies in Law, Crime and Deviance. He is also certified in Internal Supplier Auditing and multiple ISO standards. He brings diverse experience across telecommunications, banking, research, and education & training. Has worked across multiple SETAs, building deep expertise in South Africa’s skills development landscape.
His career took a turn when he chose not to pursue what he studied at university. While his former classmates pursued careers in politics, Freddy took the opposite direction and developed a deep passion for skills development. He built his career in the education and training sector instead. When asked why he did not enter politics, he explained that: “The level of poverty in education within previously marginalised Black communities need to be addressed. This cannot be achieved by government handouts, but by upskilling the youth, the marginalised and the entire communities at large.”.
Additionally, he plays a fundamental role in stakeholder Management, liaise with SETAs, clients, and partners on WSP/ATR, discretionary grants, and compliance. As far as sales pipeline is concerned, convert leads for learnerships, internships, skills programmes, and SDF services. .
Freddy’s solid background gives him the real credibility across education, compliance, and multiple industries.
Apart from fulfilling a role of Sales and Marketing, Mpho also heads a safety and security entity focused on community policing, guard services, and VIP protection. At The Learning Curve Skills Solutions, she plays a key role in marketing strategy and business development, and also handles operations.n.
She drives growth, partnerships, and brand visibility for The Learning Curve Skills Solutions. Some of her core responsibilities include, Business Development, Identifying new clients, SETA funding opportunities, and corporate training partnerships. She also does Marketing Manage brand, campaigns, mailers, social media, and BBBEE positioning.
Mpho also deal with Client Relations as she is a first point of contact for proposals, quotes, and service agreements. Her approach is a 1-business-day email response & one-call-resolution.
